How To Check Minutes/Balance/Data On Android & iPhone?

As a mobile phone user, it is important that you are aware of the minutes, data, and balance you have in your account. After all, you don’t want to exceed the limit and run up your mobile bill.

Most mobile providers give users multiple ways to check their balance, minutes, and data. The two most popular approaches to take are: dialing a specific number for the information or accessing it on the network’s dedicated app.

We explain how you can do both for the most common networks in the U.S.

How To Check Your Minutes On Android/iPhone?

In terms of minutes, there are two different checks you can perform on your mobile phone.

The first would cover the call time on the phone, in hours and minutes, the second covers the minutes left on your mobile plan. We explain how you can do both.

Total Call Time On The Phone

  1. Open the “Settings” apps.
  2. Tap the “Cellular” option.
  3. Scroll down to the “Call Time” section. This displays the lifetime and current period in call time.

Minutes On Your Plan

For this, there are multiple ways you can check minutes. The most common is to dial the specific number given by your network to check minutes.

For AT&T, you can dial 646#, T-Mobile users can dial #646#, and Verizon users can dial #646.

Another option would be to check on the application for the respective provider. For that, you would need to download your network provider’s app, sign in using your account details, and your usage information will show up.

We highlight how you can check minutes on a Sprint App. Other providers will have almost identical apps.

  1. Open the network provider app.
  2. On the bottom of the screen, you will notice three icons, click on the second one that has four boxes. You will be prompted to sign in to your Sprint account if you haven’t already.
  3. Tap “Talk” and you will have all your minute data available.

Final Thoughts

Networks have made it easy for users to access the information they want.

They allow them to check on various platforms, so you know exactly how many minutes, data, and balance you have remaining.
